Rezzo Emilia announced the transfer of Ponitka to Panathinaikos
Mateus Ponitka (29 years, 1m98) is officially a Panathinaikos player, while Rezzo Emilia announced the Polish guard-forward’s concession.
Mateus Ponitka (29 years old, 1.98 meters) is officially part of the Panathinaikos team. The news was announced by Rezzo Emilia, who in her announcement informed about the assignment of the Pole’s rights to Trefoil.
Ponitka had a contract (2+1 months) with Italian Rezzo Emilia, but that didn’t stop Panathinaikos, who claimed one of the top players of EuroBasket 2022, which ended a few days ago.
With the acquisition of the ex-Zenit player, Panathinaikos added an all-around guard/forward to their roster, who primarily competes as a shooting guard and small forward, while also effectively holding the role of point guard in Poland.
