Eriksson, who was out of action for 3-4 months, suffered a repeat of a previous injury
Marcus Eriksson was unlucky again after suffering a leg injury from last year and will be out for three to four months.
Marcus Eriksson will have to wait a long time before he can step back on the pitch. According to European reports, the Swedish keeper/forward suffered a repeat of last year’s leg injury and will be out for 3-4 months, dealing a heavy blow to Alba Berlin.
Last season, Eriksson had a lot of injury problems (back and leg) which caused him to only play 13 games in the EuroLeague and 10 in the German league before returning to the playoffs. However, while he appeared to have gotten over the issue with his leg, he suffered a relapse that will likely see him hit the ground running in 2023.
