According to Serbian reports, Red Star and Jovic are close to an agreement
Red Star continue to search the market for a player, with Serbian reports suggesting that the Red-Whites are close to signing Stefan Jovic, who will return after five years.
Stefan Jovic (32 years, 1.98 meters) is about to return to Red Star after 5 years. This is supported by the Serbian website sportske.net, which says that negotiations between the two sides are at an advanced level.
The Serbian guard, who played for Red Star from 2014 to 2017, initially missed the 2021/22 season through injury and signed for Panathinaikos mid-year. But his time in Greece was short-lived as injuries only allowed him to play 11 games and a total of 122 minutes and 40 seconds.
According to reports from Serbia, the experienced guard is said to be in the best physical condition in recent years and wants to compete at the highest level again.
