Radulitsa’s transfer is a common thread for Red Star organizers

The takeover of Miroslav Radulica drew a milder reaction from Red Star’s organized fans than many expected. But they explained that a red line is now being entered.

On Wednesday September 28, Miroslav Radulica became one of the few (very few) players who can say that they played for both Partizan (2011-’12) and Red Star. “Double agents” are an endangered species in Serbia, especially when it comes to local athletes.

The Red Stars’ announcement of the deal with the veteran big man was not met with enthusiasm by the team world, but at the same time Red Star’s organized fans – through a statement – declared that they are no problem for him.

Together, they called on the team leadership to now adopt the decades-old agreement with football that no local athlete who has previously worn the shirt of their hated rival can be taken over. As for foreigners? In the announcement they issued, they state that “each case is considered individually“.

Unbelievable and yet… Serbian.
