Facundo Cabasso makes a decision, goes back to Europe and is wanted

Published

on

Real Madrid and Partizan have their sights set on Facundo Cabasso but the 31-year-old Argentine is in no hurry to find the next stop in his career.

After a two-year NBA career in which he averaged 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, 3.56 assists and one steal per 20.1 minutes in 130 regular-season games with the Denver Nuggets, Facundo Cabaso is now ready to go return to Europe.

At 31, the Argentine point guard remains a free agent, he had made staying in the United States a priority, but that can no longer happen as rosters have largely closed and no organization cares about his case.

It means Cabasso is packing his bags to come back to us and Real Madrid are keen to get him back in their squad, despite Sergio Yule – Sergio Rodriguez being in their ace and having banked on a deal with him to score an illogical basketball create and financial, roster that will play the leading role.

From the moment Campaso understood that the NBA door was closed, or at least closed, there was interest from other teams as well. A Lithuanian journalist has revealed that Zeljko Obradovic’s Partizan are interested in Argentina as Aleksa Abramovic remains injured and out of action. A potential move to Belgrade is a major upgrade for the Serbia side, who have returned to the EuroLeague to claim more than a simple participation.

All that is certain is that Cabaso, who literally spent money out of his own pocket to try his hand at the NBA, will be in no rush to graduate on salaries significantly less than he thinks he’s worth. What does that mean; It is possible that he will let time work in his favor so that in a few weeks or months the needs of some organizations will throw the best offer for a multi-year contract on his table.

A beautiful moment for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who signed his shoes and gave them to his son Nick Calathes after the Bucks vs. Magic game, with the Fenerbahce guard thanking him via Instagram.

The Bucks beat the Magic 109-102 in Orlando, with Giannis Antetokounmpo stopping at 34 points. But it was something he did after the fight that had its own meaning.

When the game was over, the Bucks star met up with his son Nick Calathes (who lives in the greater Florida area) and gave him his shoes and even took a picture with Thanasis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks even caught the scene on camera – unaware of the ins and outs of the moment – and Nick Calathes later thanked the Antetokounmpo brothers by uploading a photo of his son with them and writing:I love you! Thank you for making my son the happiest kid!”

One of the outstanding figures in European basketball, Nikola Vujicic becomes the 11th EuroLeague legend. The Croatian center will be honored before the game Maccabi – Valencia (December 8th, 9:05 p.m.) on the 12th day of the competition.

He’s on the world’s radar, now he’s officially becoming a EuroLeague legend. The reason for Nikola Vučić, who has won two cups (2004 and 2005) with Maccabi Tel Aviv and been named a member of the top five of Europe’s leading club competition five times.

The experienced center of Villeurbanne, Maccabi, Olympiakos and Efes, who made 192 appearances in 11 seasons, averaging 12.7 points (56% 2 points, 34.5% 3 points, 69.5% shots), 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists is one of the most distinctive personalities in the history of the EuroLeague and will be honored accordingly on December 8th before the start of the national team’s game on matchday 12 against Valencia (08/12, 21:05).

It is worth noting that although more than 10 years have passed since the Croatian center last played in the EuroLeague, he is still one of the two players in the history of the competition with 2,000+ points, 1,000+ rebounds and 500+ assists. The other person who has achieved something similar is Nick Calathes. The two also share another standout feat as they are the only ones to record a triple-double.
