Olympiacos have loaned 18-year-old Zorba to Maroussi
In a modest announcement, Olympiacos revealed they have loaned Thomas Zorba (18 years old, 2.04m centre) to Marousi for a year.
Thomas Zorbas (18 years, 2.04 metres, centre) will compete in the 2022/23 season on loan from Olympiakos with Marousi in the A2 championship.
This was announced by the “Red-Whites” with a short announcement that the young medium-sized company would be in the Nordvorstadt squad for a year.
Zorbas is a product of the Olympiakos Academies and last year (2021/22) was the main center of the ‘red and white’ teenage team averaging 12.2 points and 8.9 rebounds in 27 minutes participating in the EEC Rising Stars tournament and 15, 8 points, 11.8 average rebound and 1 block in 30 minutes Participated in the Panhellenic Youth Championship.
Zorbas is the fourth player loaned out by Olympiacos ahead of the 2022/23 season, after Alexandros Nikolaidis (Lavrio), Sotiris Oikonomopoulos (Panerythraikos) and Zaid Mouosa (Anorthosis).
