Vatutin: “I already know the answer we will get from the EuroLeague”
Andrei Vatutin was confident that the season for CSKA Moscow in the EuroLeague is already over.
A week before the deadline set by the EuroLeague to clarify how to proceed with the three Russian teams in the tournament (CSKA Moscow, Zenit, Unics Kazan), Andrei Vatutin expressed confidence in the result.
The CSKA Moscow strongman spoke to TASS, where he expressed his belief, for many reasons, that nothing could change in the next seven days. It means the premature end of the EuroLeague season for the three Russian teams, who will focus on what to do in the VTB League.
“The EuroLeague has set a deadline of March 21 for the decision, but I already know the answer we will get. I think we all know her. I’ll be happy if I’m proven wrong, I promise to drink champagne if something like this happens. For the moment, however, there are no major changes“He first explained before adding:
“It’s hard to imagine how the Russian teams will have the opportunity to continue this season in the EuroLeague. Not just because of politics, but also because there are billing issues“.
