Mike James pulled Giorgos Bartzokas and hugged him in the Monaco-Olympiacos final
Mike James’ embrace of Giorgos Bartzokas in the Monaco-Olympiacos final was discussed, with the American dragging the Greek coach into midfield.
Monaco and Olympiacos Piraeus fought another gigantic battle on Thursday evening (30/11), with the Monegasques winning (85-77) thanks to Mike James’ leadership performance in the final crucial minutes. Immediately after the end of the game, the American Giorgos Bartzokas, who approached the referees and his players, pulled him over to hug him and once again show how much they respected each other.
We remind you that James was “linked” to Olympiakos in the summer of 2023, when information from Sportish said that he wanted to leave Monte Carlo, indirectly denying the Piraeus scenario, but the reality was that Bartzokas really considered him a great Americans wanted to have the team squad with them.
