Milutinov: “Petrushev can help the team a lot”
Olympiakos Piraeus has the game against Bayern Munich for the EuroLeague (August 12, 9:15 p.m., Novasports Prime, Sportish’s Match Center) and Nikola Milutinov spoke about the upcoming game with Bayern.
Olympiacos and Bayern cross swords in the Peace and Friendship Stadium (12.08., 9:15 p.m., Novasports Prime, Match Center from Sportish) and the tall player of Giorgos Bartzokas’ team, Nikola Miloutinov, spoke about the game against Bayern.
The Serbian center spoke about his new teammate Filip Petrusev, whom he described as a quality player, and emphasized that he expects a difficult game against Bayern.
In detail what he said:
About the game against Bayern: “We expect a strong and good opponent. They have a lot of good players who can score, so we have to play strong in defense from the start to win the game.”
About Philip Petrusev: “He showed last season and in the summer that he is a good player. He can help the team a lot and hopefully he will play soon and be part of the team because we need him.”
About the team lineup: “Hopefully Goss will be with us soon. We’ll see how far we can go.”
About how he feels: “The injury caused me to lose my pace a bit. I have to work hard to get back in shape and there are better days ahead. I am positive and confident.”
For the injuries: “I don’t know what’s to blame. It could be the World Cup, it could be someone unlucky. I hope for all teams, not just us, that the injuries stop and all teams have their players available. Because that is the biggest “important thing”.
