Finally, Itoudis from Fenerbahce, Jasikevicius’ favorite for his position
Fenerbahce and Dimitris Itoudis divorced early. The Greek coach is part of the Turkish club’s past. The announcement remains. Sarunas Jasikevicius is considered the favorite for this position.
Dimitris Itoudis and Fenerbahce’s journey together is over. The Turkish club have not been happy with recent results, culminating in defeat to depleted Efes in the Turkish League on Monday (11/12), and are already looking for a replacement for the Greek coach.
The name of Sarunas Jasikevicius, who has been free since the summer after leaving the Barcelona bench, currently appears to be the favorite to take over the management of Fenerbahçe. Andrea Trinchieri’s name is also on the list.
Fenerbahce currently has a record of 6-7 and is in 12th place in the EuroLeague standings, while in the Turkish League they have 8 wins and 3 losses, which puts them level with Karsijaka – Besiktas and behind leaders Efes, who 10-1.
