Nedovic and Giedraitis led Red Star against Alba
Led by Nemanja Nedovic and Rokas Giedraitis, the Red Stars defeated Alba Berlin 85:71 and improved their record to 5:9.
Red Star scored an 85:71 home win against Alba Berlin in the hot Stark Arena in the 14th game of the EuroLeague. The Red and Whites from Belgrade improved their record to 5:9 and achieved four positive results since Giannis Sfeiropoulos took over.
Rokas Giedraitis and Nemanja Nedovic were the winning team’s outstanding attacking players. The Lithuanian striker had 19 points (3/6 two-pointers, 3/4 two-pointers, 4/4 shots) and 5 rebounds. The Serbian guard scored 20 points (4/5 2-pointers, 4/7 3-pointers). The always good Milos Teodosic followed with 12 points (2/2 twos, 2/3 threes, 2/2 shots), 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 turnovers in just 18’04 minutes.
On Alba’s side, Malte Dilow showed a good performance, with 5 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 fouls in just under 20 minutes. 9-16 points from surprise, 14-10 points from opponent’s mistakes, 12-12 points from second chances.
