“French referee Joseph Bissang was the victim of a racist attack during a EuroLeague game in Greece yesterday evening (December 15th). The French Basketball Federation would like to express its full support to him after this unacceptable incident. We have asked the EuroLeague and they are calling on the EEC to take the necessary measures commensurate with the seriousness of the matter. The French Basketball Federation would like to remind you that racism has no place in our sport or in society” he pointed out significantly.
Let us recall that KAE Olympiacos immediately condemned the incident and indicated that the fan in question was given a lifetime ban.
