Fenerbahce dismantles Turk Telecom as Tyler Dorsey strikes
Good image from Fenerbahce and a comfortable win over Turk Telecom (99-71), with Tyler Dorsey as the first scorer.
Sarunas Jasikevicius has only been in Istanbul for a few days, so it is probably not safe to draw conclusions about Fenerbahce’s image. For now, however, the Turkish team is celebrating its commanding 99:71 victory over Turk Telekom, with the Lithuanian coach earning plenty of recognition ahead of the EuroLeague’s monster week.
The best scorer was Tyler Dorsey, who scored 19 points in 18 minutes (4/5 2-pointers, 3/5 3-pointers, 2/2 shots) and filled his statistics with eight rebounds and one assist for 21 points. Mahmutoglu with 18, Hazer with 16, Hayes and Motley with 12 followed him, with Saras shooting 65.6% on two-pointers, 50% on three-pointers and 23 assists on 14 turnovers. Turk Telecom’s leaders were Steven Enoch (16 points, 7 rebounds) and Ismail Ulusoy (15 points).
THE DECADES: 26-18, 46-28, 71-48, 99-71
