Freddie Gillespie left Pablo Lasso for Yannis Sfairopoulos
Bayern have said goodbye to Freddie Gillespie, who is moving to Yannis Sfairopoulos’ Red Star.
The headlines about the end of Freddie Gillespie’s association with Bayern Munich were officially dropped on Monday December 18th, a year and a half after his signing was announced.
The 26-year-old center said goodbye to the Audi Dome to compete in the Red Star jersey at Stark Arena for the rest of the season under the leadership of Yiannis Sfairopoulos. Of course, it is noteworthy that he will not be eligible to play until the end of 2023, meaning he will not be available for the away duel between Red Star and Panathinaikos AKTOR on Thursday, December 28th at the OAKA.
