Mike James poked fun at Monaco and pointed to Munich’s defeat against Panathinaikos
Two nights after the home defeat against Panathinaikos, Mike James took Monaco on his arm and led them to a double in Bayern Munich’s home game (91-80).
Monaco was a battered beast on Friday evening (December 22nd), scoring a brace against Bayern (91:80) after their home defeat against Panathinaikos in the matchday 16 game of the EuroLeague in Munich.
The Monegasques went 9-7 (4-3 at home and 5-4 away), with the great Mike James (28 points from 14 shots) this time having a worthy supporter Eli Okombo, who was deadly against the Monegasques two nights ago Greens.
Monaco had a very poor three-point ratio, they had little room for manoeuvre, but they had the players for the difficult cases and they carried them to the result.
Bayern fell to 7-9 (5-2 home and 2-7 away), with Sylvain Francisco the only one really ready for this fight. Edwards wasn’t very effective, Bonga, Bolmaro, Lucic, Ibaka, Booker remained very low and Pablo Lasso hopes that his team’s image will be better in the next game, at home against Valencia.
