According to Israeli journalist Roy Cohen from Sport5, Maccabi Tel Aviv is considering requesting the postponement of the game against Panathinaikos at OAKA (January 14, 21:00 Novasports 4 and LIVE by Sportish).
Maccabi Tel Aviv is one of the teams that has been hit the hardest by the coronavirus lately, with several cases reported among its ranks. The team from Israel did not play in the 20th game of EuroLeague against Alba Berlin while, according to Israeli journalist Roy Cohen of Sport5, he is considering requesting the postponement of the game against Panathinaikos in OAKA (14/1, 21:00 Novasports 4 and LIVE from Sportish).
The number of games already postponed is huge, while a post on the same website a few days ago explained that unless case numbers in Maccabi’s ranks increase, the game against the Greens in Athens would go ahead as normal. Maccabi hasn’t announced a new case since then, however, the possibility of requesting a postponement of the game seems to be visible.
The games of the 21st game that have been postponed so far:
Zalgiris Kaunas – Red Star
Olympiacos – Zenit St. Petersburg
Fenerbahce – Alba Berlin
Armani Milan – Unics Kazan
