Panathinaikos: Stefan Jovic in Athens
Stefan Jovic stepped onto Greek soil on Monday afternoon, January 17 ready to take part in the Panathinaikos OPAP training program.
A week late, Stefan Jovic entered Greek soil on behalf of Panathinaikos OPAP on Monday afternoon, January 17th. The 31-year-old point guard had to postpone his trip to Athens by a week after testing positive for the coronavirus.
After the necessary quarantine in Belgrade, he boarded the plane to the Greek capital, where he will stay at least until the summer – his contract has the possibility of an extension for another season.
The question of participation in the away game against Anantolou Efes (21.1., 7.30 p.m.) does not arise with the data so far, however, as he was out for around six months. Dimitris Priftis explained last week that “Stefan Jovic will need a gradual reintegration due to inactivity”.
