Zalgiris: Lost three players in the face of Fenerbahce with coronavirus
Arturas Milaknis, Tai Webster and Paulius Yankunas tested positive for the corona virus, which led to an automatic KO in Zalgiris’ away game against Fenerbahce (20.1., 19:45).
With three absentees, Zalgiris will play the 22nd game of the EuroLeague in the away test against Fenerbahce (20 January, 7:45 p.m.). The Lithuanian team said it had three cases of coronavirus and joined the list of teams in the organization that saw the pandemic (again) knocking on their door.
The reason for Arthur Milaknis, Tai Webster and Paulius Jankunas being automatically ruled out for the Lithuania team’s next game.
We remind you that, based on the new EuroLeague health protocol, the quarantine of vaccinated athletes has been reduced from 14 to 7 days, while in relation to the unvaccinated it has decreased to 10 days.
