Armani Milano struggled, but in the final they celebrated victory over Alba (84-76) in a postponed game of the 18th round and caught Olympiakos in third place in the EuroLeague standings. The Italian team achieved 12 wins in 18 games, a number shared by both Giorgos Bartzokas’ red-white and Xavi Pascual’s Zenit.
Shortly before that, Monaco had played Villeurbanne (100-75) in the Astroballe, in a match postponed for the 19th game.
