Bad news for Villeurbanne, who have announced they will be out of William Howard’s employ for another three weeks due to a knee injury.

William Howard will be out for a further three weeks with a knee injury, leaving Villeurbanne without a vital solution for a crucial part of the season. The news was announced by the French club.

Howard has been out of action since December 27 and the match against Limoges (loss 83-85). He has since undergone a recovery program with a goal of returning immediately. In the end, however, he will have to be patient as Villeurbanne dates his return to February 6 and the league game against Strasbourg.

This season, Howard has averaged 7.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals with a 48.6% on three-pointers in 24 minutes of EuroLeague participation.
