McKissick: “It has nothing to do with coronavirus, other things we have to see and work on”
Speaking to Nova’s camera after Olympiakos’ loss to Maccabi in Tel Aviv, Sakil McKissick cited the coronavirus, which was plaguing the team but wasn’t the main reason for the red-whites’ poor performance.
Olympiakos lost to Maccabi in the 22nd game of the EuroLeague in Tel Aviv and Sakil McKissick spoke to his camera after the end of the game Nova.
The American Olympiakos player didn’t use the coronavirus that was sweeping the Reds and Whites as an excuse for the bad looks, while agreeing with Giorgos Bartzokas that Olympiakos lost fairly.
“We have a training session ahead of us and that’s where we’ll see our mistakes. To be honest I don’t know what went wrong today. I hope we watch the video and understand what exactly is going on and fix it. ” said McKissick
Regarding the coronavirus afflicting the team, McKissick didn’t use it as an excuse: “It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with other things that we see and need to work on. I agree with the coach 100%. We pretty much lost. We need to see what happened, what went wrong, and then fix it to have an amazing second round.
