The final of Peristerio in France, the Prometheus test and the entire basketball program with times and channels

Basketball action on Wednesday (18/1) is quite rich as Peristeri bwin will try to match in the BCL what PAOK failed to do and Prometheus will continue on his good course in the EuroCup. The Women’s A1 also continues Olympiakos’ commitments in the Women’s EuroLeague.
bwin Pigeon’s European trip inevitably leads through Dijon. Whether interrupted or continued, there is no third way. Tonight (21:00 COSMOTE SPORT 4 HD, LIVE on Sportish) against the French team of the same name, Vassilis Spanoulis’ team is only looking for victory to reach the round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League, but without taking the lead.
After the draw in Athens, Dijon will have home advantage and the Blue and Yellows will look to turn the tide by qualifying in a group already made up of Strasbourg, Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Holon.
An hour later (10:00 p.m. Novasports 4HD, LIVE from Sportish) the jumbo ball of the eleventh game that Prometheus will play in the EuroCup is ready. The 6-4 Patrinas will face the – leaders of their group – Gran Canaria (8-2) in Spain and will certainly have a difficult task because on the one hand the previous journey is a marathon and on the other exhausting on the other hand it is a seat with a particular dynamic , which acts on the players.
At least Yannis Christopoulos’ players have nothing to lose because the games that will determine their future in the competition are different.
In the Women’s EuroLeague, Olympiacos plays Fenerbahce in the SEF at 17:30 (LIVE STREAM from FIBA) and hopes for the first win after nine defeats. Of course there is no chance of qualifying, but a good performance and a positive result against a strong team with a 7-2 record would still be welcome.
The 16th match day of the A1 women’s league finally begins in the early afternoon, with a total of five games on the program.

Prometheus defeats Paris and enters the EuroCup KO round with home advantage

Anthony Cowan worked wonders as Prometheus defeated Paris (84-81) to secure home field advantage early in the EuroCup knockout round.
After all, Prometheus secured fourth place in his group in the EuroCup with his home win against Paris (84:81) on the 17th day of the group stage of the competition.
The Patras team rose to 11-6 and left the French 10-7 while beating them twice, meaning a possible draw would prevail after the 18th and final day of play.
Prometheus will thus move into the EuroCup KO round with home advantage in the round of 16, but also with the aim of continuing this year’s good European course to the best possible annual final.
Anthony Cowan had an incredible performance (38 points and the big 3-pointer for 84-81 in 4.1″) to fill the void left by John Thomason’s injury and the truth is he’s almost alone Played against anyone who had extremely high stats at the same time.
Paris struggled without Kyle Allman, lined up with nine men and fought with nine, excellently with Tyrone Wallace but also very much alone for much of the game.
The EuroCup KO round begins with the round of 16 on April 12th.

Prometheus hosts Paris with home advantage in the EuroCup KO rounds where the game is seen

Prometheus welcomes Paris (7.30 p.m., Novasports Prime and LIVE from Sportish) to the 17th (penultimate) matchday of the EuroCup with the goal of a win that secures at least 4th place in its group while also securing home advantage in the stage of 16 of the event.
The most important game of the season for Prometheus in Europe is today (22/3). The Patrinos welcome Paris (7.30 p.m., Novasports Prime and LIVE from Sportish) on the 17th (penultimate) day of the EuroCup in a much decisive game.
If Prometheus wins, they will secure at least fourth place – and thus home advantage in the round of 16. It is recalled that 8 teams from each group will qualify based on a behavioral system for the next stage where qualification for the Quarterfinals will be determined by the logic of knockout in a single game. In general, the first 4 of each group play with the well-known crosses (1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5) for home qualification.
Prometheus had won the first round match in Paris (71-74), which means that with a win it is at least 4th place. There are also scenarios that can put him in both 3rd and 2nd place depending on the results of Hapoel Tel Aviv and Turk Telecom who are above him in the rankings.
However, before Prometheus jumps into the final race scenarios, he wants to secure at least 4th place first, which will happen if he wins today. Otherwise, if they lose, they will be out of luck on the final day of play and will likely finish 5th.

Prometheus stuck in London due to air traffic controllers strike, first available flights on Sunday

Air traffic controllers’ involvement in the general strike has left Prometheus stranded in London after the London Lions game, with the first available flights scheduled for Sunday. Half of the squad will try to return with the coach.
Prometheus pulled off a great win yesterday (3/15) against the London Lions on day 16 of the EuroCup in London, but that win has already… turned sour. The reason; Patrinos are stuck in London over air traffic controllers taking part in the general strike and the next flight for which tickets are available is scheduled for… Sunday (19/3)!
According to the new data presented, tomorrow (17/3) half of the team will try to return by bus (a 14-hour journey) via Bulgaria, and the other half as soon as tickets become available.
It is recalled that Prometheus is scheduled to host AEK for game 19 of the Basket League on Saturday (18/3, 7:15 p.m. ERT3) with all options currently open.
