Chaos with Hapoel Tel Aviv fans in Badalona
Incidents also in Badalona where Hapoel Tel Aviv fans caused ugly situations in EuroCup Quarterfinals.
A few days after what happened in the closed Ano Liosia, between the fans of AEK and Hapoel Jerusalem, a few hours after the final and game 3, which took place in the electrified Pais Arena, it was the turn of another team from Israel to occupy the current affairs. Hapoel Tel Aviv traveled to Spain with Badalona for the EuroCup quarter-finals, but their fans misbehaved as they attacked the home crowd for no reason.
More than 1,000 people created an explosive atmosphere at the Palau Olimpic in Badalona, with the police intervening and averting worse situations, even though several friends of the Spanish team had left their seats to avoid danger. In general, the atmosphere in European basketball is not good and moving the fans doesn’t seem like the best idea, at least for now.
