The Russian invasion of Ukraine has rocked Russian basketball as players leave one by one. According to Sportish, Valencia have expressed an interest in CSKA Moscow’s Marius Grigonis, who they want to bring to Spain to earn something more in Liga Endesa.
According to the article, the Spaniards want to fill the void left by Klemen Prepelic’s injury and intend to do so with a top-flight player. However, the case is not easy as Marius Grigonis has a contract with CSKA.
That season with the Army team, Marius Grigonis averaged 8.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 16 games in top European club competition. It is worth noting that he is not entitled to take part in the EuroCup as the corresponding transfer window has been closed since March 8th.
