Aris agreed with Manny Bates for the middle position
Aris agreed on the middle position with Manny Bates (23, 2:11). The asterisk to activate the agreement.
Aris filled another gap in the 2023/24 squad after reaching an agreement with Manny Bates (23, 2-11). The 23-year-old center played his final NCAA season with Butler, averaging 11.6 points (61.9% in 2-pointers and 65.1% in field goals), 5.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1 .9 blocks.
The two teams have joined forces and Manny Bates will move to Thessaloniki to join Yannis Kastritis’ team. The only asterisk that goes into the collaboration between the two sides concerns the window of opportunity the big young man has until July 31 to find a guaranteed contract in the NBA – which of course seems extremely difficult if not impossible at the time.
