Buduchnost, Aris’ EuroCup rivals, have signed Italy’s MVP and former Mavericks player
Buduchnost filled his perimeter with Italian League MVP Colby Ross and McKinley Wright, who played for the Mavericks in the NBA and their G-League affiliates last year.
Buduchnost, one of the teams Aris will face in the EuroCup in the 2023/24 season, has made two very important additions to the region. In fact, the team from Montenegro, which also competes in the ABA league, announced the acquisition of McKinley Wright (1998, 1:80 minutes) and Colby Ross (1998, 1:85 minutes).
The first was with the Mavericks last year, with whom he recorded 27 NBA appearances, 4.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while playing the remainder of the year in the G-League at the Dallas affiliate.
The latter played the 2022/23 season in Italy with Varese, recording 17.5 points (55.5% 2 points, 38.8% 3 points, 75.2% shots), 4.4 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 30 games, numbers that earned him the Lega Basket Serie A MVP title.
