Watch the 16 teams progressing through the knockout rounds of the EuroCup and how they will battle each other to qualify for the quarter-finals of the tournament Prometheus bid farewell to.
The regular season of the EuroCup ended on Wednesday evening (April 6th) with Prometheus’ 14th defeat in 18 games (at home against Cedevita) and the end of the tournament. This continues with eight couples battling it out for the Quarterfinals, with the top eight teams in Group A taking on the top eight teams in Group B in the form of 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5.
Badalona plays Ulm, Partizan plays Bursaspor, Metropolitan plays Venezia, Andorra plays Buduνοnost, Gran Canaria plays Slask, Valencia plays Hamburg, Cedevita plays Turk Telekom Lietkabelis. The matches will take place on April 19th and 20th, the quarterfinals on April 26th and 27th, the semifinals on May 3rd and 4th and the final on the 11th of the same month, with the winner gaining promotion to the EuroLeague a season.
Monaco’s entry into the octave and the EuroLeague playoffs automatically kept them in the league for another year, with the consequence that the EuroCup could not give a second ticket.
