Yogi Ferrell is back in the ABA league, but not for Partizan

Published

on

Partizan’s courtship of Yogi Ferrell didn’t end in marriage, but the diminutive American guard returned to the ABA league and signed a contract with Buduchnost.

Yogi Ferrell (1993, 1:83 minutes) and Partizan were close to agreeing on a contract for a few months with the option of an extension until the end of the season. However, the former Panathinaikos guard eventually backed down when he saw that Black and White Belgrade’s fans weren’t very keen on the sound of his name.

However, the small winger wanted to leave China and return to Europe, so he reached an agreement with Buduchnost and will therefore play in the ABA League again, as well as the EuroCup.

Last season, while playing for Cedevita, Ferrell averaged 16.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 29 Adriatic League games.

Toliopoulos was eliminated from the away game against Trent

Published

on

Vassilis Toliopoulos was excluded – at the last moment – from the Aris team for the away game against Trento in the EuroCup.

With a serious problem at the last moment, the Aris Mission traveled to the EuroCup in Italy with a view to the away game against Trento (November 29th, 9:00 p.m.).

The reason for this was Vassilis Toliopoulos, who ultimately did not follow the team on the trip to the Italian city due to severe stomach problems. Although he was at the airport with his teammates, he had to leave one by one.

This is a long absence that forces Giannis Kastritis to readjust the data in the rotation, as it is a regional player who has recorded 11.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists so far in the EuroCup.
