Seven Buduchnost fans were arrested in Turkey after their team’s EuroCup game
Seven Buduchnost fans were arrested – apparently wrongly – after their team’s away game against Turk Telekom on the second matchday of the EuroCup. Turkish police suspected her of being part of a criminal organization but eventually released her without charge.
Seven Buduchnost fans had an unpleasant experience when they traveled from Montenegro to Turkey last Wednesday (November 10th) to support the efforts of their favorite team in the game against Turk Telekom on the second matchday of the EuroCup.
When they returned home by bus from our neighboring country, these seven fans, aged 21 to 41, were arrested by the police on suspicion of membership in a criminal organization. After interviewing and further investigating these seven fans of hers Buduchnost were eventually released.
“We asked Interpol and the embassies for help. As far as we know, they were kidnapped and detained on serious charges of terrorism and murder planning, which is not true because they were there to support their group, but even photos of the fight did not help them prove it to the Turkish police. “Aleksandar Ivanovic, a leader of the club’s organized fans, told the Montenegrin Vijesitma website on the matter.
