Incredible Holland started roaring in flash interview, saying ‘we’re a pit bull’
Bursaspor’s John Holland gave new meaning to the – usually boring – flash interviews after speaking to Cedevita Olympia at half-time in the EuroCup quarter-finals and started to… growl before saying that everyone on the Turkish team is a pit bull may be.
The Flash interviews that take place at halftime of the games are usually not interesting. You are typical. But John Hollande is not a typical player. And he showed it in the halftime of the quarterfinals of the Bursaspor EuroCup with Cedevita Olympia (Turks won 85:83).
When the Turkish team was leading 36-50 at half-time, the journalist asked him the standard question of how he saw the first half, and the American answered… roaring, only to add: “We are dogs! We are dogs! Not just any dogs, we are pit bulls. We are the underdog and we don’t care. We are pit bulls!” In fact, at the end of his statements, Hollande yelled again to emphasize this and left.
