Paris Saint-Germain players say they were victims of racist attacks from Badalona fans
Paris Saint-Germain players were allegedly racially abused in their EuroCup match against Badalona, with players from the French team complaining about racist behavior from Spanish fans.
Complaints of racist attacks were made by Paris players during the EuroCup game against Badalona.
The Spanish team hosted the French team, with Paris winning 101-94. Away team players have complained about racist behavior from Badalona fans. Nadir Heafy and Michael Kessens took to social media to express their displeasure and describe what they experienced on the Spanish pitch.
Nadir Hifi wrote in his social media post: “I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. Monkeys cry during our game against Badalona… It’s 2023 and still nothing changes. It’s very serious.”
Teammate Michael Kessens reposted Heaphy’s post and said: “I don’t know what is worse: the racist behavior of Badalona fans or the fact that this happens every year without anything changing. Cowardly behavior from fans who seem to think it is acceptable and normal. “You at the EuroCup plan to do something about it?”
