KAE Prometheus announces its agreement with American athlete DJ Funderburk, who will compete with the Patras team jersey in the 2022-23 season.

DJ Funderburk is 25 years old, born on April 12, 1997 in Lakewood, Ohio, is 2.07 m tall and plays primarily as a center, although he can also fill the position of power forward. In the 2017-18 season, he began his college career in Northwest Florida State and then transferred to NC State. Last season, which was also his first as a professional basketball player, he came to Europe to play against Russian Avtodor Saratov, with whom he averaged 10.7 points and 2.6 rebounds. Due to the Russia-Ukraine War, Funderburk left Avtodor Saratov in March, ending the year with Paris Basketball, where he played in 11 games.

We welcome DJ Funderburk to the Prometheus basketball family and wish him health and success on an individual level as he helps our team achieve their goals.”
