Rising Paris are preparing an upset with Wallace off 112 games in the NBA
With hot money in the bank, Paris is preparing to bring 28-year-old Tyrone Wallace (1.96) to Europe, a player who had a 9.7 point in the NBA as a Clippers player in 2017-18.
Paris is already in the arms of the EuroLeague and their goal is to slowly climb the steps that lead to elite status.
The Eurocup, where it faces Prometheus in the regular season, is the easy way, but to go far it needs to strengthen heavily. That’s why he’s preparing to bring to Europe a regional division club with a triple-digit NBA game count and a solid G-League reputation.
Tyron Wallace is a dynamic 6’10 combo guard who was drafted 60th overall in the 2016 draft and has since played in 112 games with the Clippers, Hawks and Pelicans averaging 5.1 points. In his best season (2017/18), he averaged 9.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists with the Los Angeles team.
Paris sees a leader from the periphery in the 28-year-old American. Axel Toupan – once an Olympiakos player – also belongs to the same team.
