Michalis Tsairelis is 34 years old (born February 23, 1988), has a height of 2.08 and plays mainly as a center, where he can also cover the 4 position. He is a very experienced athlete with tenure on several teams in Greece as well as abroad. Apart from Prometheus from which he had quite a successful season in 2018-19 season, he has also played in Aris, PAOK, AEL, Trikala, Tenerife, Olympiakos, Hephaestus Limnos, Iraklis, Peristeri and Larissa. Last season, the Thessaloniki center played in Larissa, with whom he had a very good year. In 23 games with the “blue-and-white” jersey, Tsairelis averaged 7.1 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist per game, played about 21 minutes per game, and was instrumental in helping Thessaly reach the Top 4 of the Basket League.
