CSKA have announced friendlies with Anadolu Efes, Bursaspor and Tofas in Turkey
CSKA Moscow has announced its preparation program for the new season, which highlights that it will play 3 friendlies in Turkey over a 5-day period against Anadolu Efes, Tofas and Bursaspor. They are also the only ones he will give against non-Russian teams.
CSKA – like all Russian teams – was banned from European basketball competitions due to the situation in Ukraine. Despite this, the “army team” will be able to cross the borders of Russia during its preparation for foreign teams.
CSKA has announced the detailed program of its preparation for the 2022/23 season, which also includes friendlies. And there is a specific period of interest: September 7th to 11th. The reason is that they will play three friendlies in Turkey within five days, against Anadolu Efes (7/9), Tofas (9/9) and Bursaspor (11/9) respectively.
For the record, the Russian team mentions in their schedule that they will also participate in a two-day tournament on September 17-18 without revealing the names of the teams. In principle, it is – at least theoretically – possible to meet a foreign team during this time. As far as we know, there are currently only three games against non-Russian teams on the schedule, these against the three Turkish teams.
