The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Los Angeles Lakers 105-87. LeBron James was out of form due to pain in his left knee.
Joel Embiid finished the game with 26 points, except for nine rebounds. The Sixers center added seven assists.
In the absence of James, Anthony Davis led the Lakers’ attack. In his second game since returning to the game, Davis had 31 points and was able to play 34 minutes after being reduced to 25 on Tuesday night.
Only three other Lakers players had more than ten points in the game. Russell Westbrook scored 20 points, while Malik Monk scored only 11 points. The Los Angeles guard made just 3 of his 13 shots.
In the winners, Embiid received a good helping hand from Tobias Harris, who scored 23 points.
Philly signs third consecutive victory.
