Utah Jazz and Joe Ingles received bad news Monday afternoon as the latter broke the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to Adrian Wojnarowski ESPN.

The latter clarified that the 34-year-old athlete will undergo surgery in the next two weeks, a fact that puts an end to his season. He was spending the last year of his contract with the Jazz.

Anyone who started his career with the Jazz in the 2014-2015 season had a season that could have ended with a title for the sixth best player. He averaged 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in 45 games.

The Jazz are fourth in the Western Conference with a record of 30-21.

Ball out for Washington

Bradley Bill is expected to miss the next two games for the Washington Wizards, after suffering a sprain in his left wrist.

Leading his team with an average of 23.2 points and 6.6 assists, Beal was injured in Memphis on Saturday.

The Wizards’ next two games are Tuesday and Wednesday in Milwaukee and Philadelphia.

Beal lost three games earlier in January under the NBA pandemic protocol.

Defeated in their last five games, the Wizards started on Monday in 11th place in the East. The team has slowed down after 10-3 on November 15th.
