Clippers thriller win over Lakers starring Reggie Jackson

Shocking. This is the word to use for the finale of the game between the Clippers and the Lakers, with the former eventually claiming victory 111-110, in a match where the lead took the owner 6(!) times in the last minute changed .

It was Reggie Jackson who, with a terribly difficult lay-up, made the final score for the – only formally – home Clippers by 4.1 seconds for the final, as the crowd supported the Lakers. However, the “Lakers” had the final attack when Anthony Davis ran all over the field but failed on a swim he attempted.

Somehow the incredible counterattack by the Lakers went awry, coming back from -17 but also from -7 in the last 140 seconds, turning 104-97 against them into 104-105 in their favor with 1 minute left in the final. Great shots from both ends followed for another minute, with Jackson – who scored 8 of his team’s last 11 points – hitting the biggest of them all.

Marcus Morris was the winners’ top scorer with 29 points, Jackson added 25 points and Serge Ibaka added 20 points.

With the Lakers, Davis had 30 points, Malik Monk had 21 points, and Russell Westbrook had 17 points (but shooting 7/18).
