LAS VEGAS – Expectations for NBA 2K23 release are growing up and now that the game is 23 years old, what better player to grace the cover Michael Jordan?
“If you put Jordan on the cover, you’re making a statement”I told him Ronnie 2K one The SportingNews. “This is the year of greatness, we are expecting very big things. It will be a very fun year.”
Jordan, who previously graced the cover of NBA 2K11, 2K12 alongside Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, and NBA 2K16 “Special Edition”, will appear in both NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and NBA 2K23 Championship Edition. in a fitting tribute to the Chicago Bulls legend.
“For us, there is no doubt that he is the best of all time”said Ronnie 2K.
“Obviously 23 is a special theme and it made sense to put it on the cover. But again, it represents what we’re trying to convey with it, which is that this is the year of greatness and that this will be the best video game we have ever released”

“Obviously Devin, the season he had on the best regular season team, they fell a little short in the playoffs, but that’s the guy.”said Ronnie 2K.

“I’m very excited about our game, [2K23] it feels different, it feels great. It’s the whole system. It’s just smoother.”Ronnie 2K replied.
“Is third year in the next generationSo we’ve done a lot of what our consumers want and we’re trying to evolve into the best game we can put out there.”
The big question every year, for fans and players alike, is the ratings, which are never missing from the conversation. While we know what to expect from the NBA’s biggest stars, the rookie class is a bit more complicated.
With all 30 teams in action at the Las Vegas Summer League, the showcase served as the rookies’ first look at an NBA setting, giving them a chance to compete against their peers as well as boost their ratings.
“We were in the Summer League and it’s the first time we’ve seen a lot of these guys, obviously, play against NBA-level talent, so we want to make sure that we’re taking advantage of the Summer League to find out what their game will be like on the real stage”Ronnie 2K replied.
“First of all, it’s hard, right? We don’t have a real basis for comparison, we just have a lot of university information or, in some cases, not even that. The pandemic in particular has been a real challenge, but we rely on that and then obviously Summer League is an opportunity for them to showcase their skills. It’s great that there are other showcases now as well. They have the California League held in San Francisco, so there are plenty of examples to give us a good idea of what the his score”.
