Manu Ginobili and the Class of 2022 made Hall of Fame history
Manu Ginobili, Tim Hardaway, George Karl and the rest of the Class of 2022 are now in the Hall of Fame, and the Argentine guard is moving with his speech.
Manu Ginobili is where he belongs: in the Hall of Fame. The Spurs and Argentina basketball legend was inducted into the Basketball Museum as a member of the Class of 2022, where she joined the likes of Tim Hardaway, George Karl, Dale Harris and Randyboy Korats.
The biggest name in the Class of 2022, the former Spurs star moved with his speech, which began from when he was a child at Spurs. “The Spurs have been a strong, supportive family to me. What can I say about Popovich? You’ve been so, so important to me and my family, on and off the pitch, and I can never thank you enough.” said Ginobili in a broken voice.
Ginobili then also idolized Tim Duncan for saying “One of the best players of all time, but above all one of the best teammates. I learned from you how to be a leader and a role model.”

For his part, Tim Hardaway recalled his days with (Hall of Famers) Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond with the Warriors when they created the famous ‘Run TMC’ and said: “I was always asked: How good do you want to be? I’m a kid from East Chicago is in the Hall of Fame. Unbelievable”, while George Karl moved and laughed as he recalled his coaching career and his time with Gary Payton with the Seattle SuperSonics.
