TORONTO – Pascal Shiakam had 33 points as the Toronto Raptors beat the Atlanta Hawks 125-114 on Friday for their fifth straight win.
Shiakam scored 25 points in the first half. He also got nine rebounds for the Raptors, who have won six of their last seven games.
The Raptors were unbeaten in an exhausting streak of four games and five nights this week.
Fred VanVleet, who took his name in the Game All-Star on Thursday, added 26 points, including five three-pointers and 11 assists.
Gary Trent had 19 points, three more than Scotty Barnes.
Chris Boucher from Montreal gave another great game with 11 points, eight rebounds, one steal and one block.
