The Hall of Fame or Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame annually recognizes some of the most important names in the history of the NBA and basketball in general.
2020 was one of the most talent-laden classes in history with Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan. In 2021, Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce, Ben Wallace and Chris Webber won the prestigious honor. and in 2022 Manu Ginobili he led a team that included Tim Hardaway among others.

How does the selection process for the Hall of Fame work?
Players must be fully retired and have played four full seasons to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. These may be considered to be included in your fifth year of retirement.
For example, Ginobili last played in the NBA in the 2017-2018 season. After not playing in 2018-2019 and beyond, he was eligible in 2022.

Which players could enter the Hall of Fame in 2023?
The Hall of Fame class of 2023 could include two of the members of the NBA’s 75th anniversary team, a list that stands out:
- Dwyane Wade (Heat, Bulls, Cavaliers)
- Dirk Nowitzki (Mavericks)
- Tony Parker (Spurs, Hornets)
Basketball Reference’s statistical model gives both Nowitzki and Wade a 100% chance of going in, while Parker gives him a 93.9% chance.
These are all players who could enter the 2023 Hall of Fame after retiring in 2019.

- Tyson Chandler (Bulls, Hornets, Bobcats, Mavericks, Knicks, Suns, Lakers, Rockets)
- Jamal Crawford (Bulls, Knicks, Warriors, Hawks, Trail Blazers, Clippers, Timberwolves, Suns, Nets)
- Kyle Korver (76ers, Jazz, Bulls, Hawks, Cavaliers, Bucks)
