How could it be otherwise, the great name that the current NBA champions have. No one represents excellence in this league better than a Stephen Curry who served as the leader of a group that virtually no one had at the beginning of the course. The key to the Warriors star’s success lies in his constant need to improve, perfecting his game and body until he becomes the most unguardable weapon in the entire league.
After becoming the player with the most 3-pointers in all-time, which led to a significant drop in his percentage, and leading Golden State to the ring, it’s worth wondering what the next hurdle Steph will try to overcome.
In March 2023 Curry will be 35 years old. a time when most stars begin to write the epilogue of their careers. However, it should not be overlooked that his level remains that of a perennial MVP candidate. In fact, if he achieved it this season, he would equal it Karl Malone as the oldest player to win the trophy.
The story ahead for the Golden State Warriors in 2022-2023
The Warriors’ loss in the 2019 Finals seemed to end a dynasty that dominated the NBA with an iron fist for nearly five years. That steep decline opened a period of contention for the league title which four campaigns later resulted in the Californians winning the ring again.
Despite losses, roster limitations, and the potential of their opponents, Golden State established themselves as champions. That’s why it’s so hard to leave them out of favorites to replay or be in the conversation. Especially when continuity was the rule in out of season of the group led by Steve Kerr extending the contract to Kevon Looney and didn’t make any flashy moves. This is the main asset of the Warriorsthe fact that it will continue to be the same team that won the NBA.
Now, the big question to be solved is whether this block will be enough once again to extend his particular legend. Klay Thompson will be ready from the start, but it is difficult to see that the excellent level offered by Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, two of the main people responsible for the success, will be maintained.
