Andre Iguodala has yet to decide whether to retire or play another year while the Warriors await his response

The Warriors also want to have Andre Iguodala with them for the 2022/23 season. They left a roster slot open for him. At the moment, however, they have not been informed of his decision.

The 38-year-old guard/forward is considering retiring from the courts. However, in Golden State, they express optimism that he will eventually play another year. But for now, there’s nothing they can do except… wait.

Iguodala has not disclosed his intentions. However, he did reveal one thing: He will be announcing his decision on… the podcast he is hosting with veteran NBA player Evan Turner.

In the 2021-22 season, Iguodala averaged 4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 20 minutes (31 games, none as a starter). Numbers aside, however, it’s what he offers in terms of advice and experience that’s of interest to the Warriors as a player who – along with Curry, Thompson and Green – has won four championships with the team, including the this year.
