Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown his other side again as he becomes a producer on the National Geographic documentary Flagmakers, about immigrants who make American flags.
Giannis Antetokounmpo expands his horizons beyond basketball. The latest proof of that was news that he will be producing the National Geographic documentary The Flagmakers.
This particular documentary follows the story of immigrant workers at a factory in the United States that produces American flags. In any case, the symbolism of the documentary is clear: on the one hand, it is about the pursuit of the American dream by the immigrants who raise their flag in search of a new home, on the other hand, the producer is Giannis, an immigrant child, whose story moved him around the world and was even filmed.
Discussing his decision to become a producer on the documentary, Yiannis emphasized: “As an immigrant myself, I find this film incredibly personal and a moving testament to those who call this country ‘home’.
