Tai Lawson was beaten and arrested in Madrid
A day after the altercation at Barajas airport, Thai Lawson starred in two episodes in which he injured a restaurant customer and was detained by Madrid police, according to a Marca report.
Tai Lawson’s downfall is endless. The 34-year-old basketball player, who spent a few weeks in Greece on behalf of the Colossus, was arrested in Madrid on Sunday afternoon (February 6) after a violent incident in an Italian restaurant. This comes a day after an incident at Barajas Airport in which officials asked him to wear his mask.
The former Denver Nuggets superscorer (12.7 points, 6 assists per 29.2 minutes in 551 NBA games) was arrested by Madrid police after a brawl in which he also injured a man. Lawson threw a glass at a customer who needed stitches to stop the bleeding before exiting the Avenida Nazareth Street restaurant and starting a new fight, according to Marca.
The American is currently being held in the Retiro area. In Spain he landed from Vienna to board another flight to Saint Dominic. At the moment he has several statements to make following another bad event in which he has starred in recent years.
