Jazz’s longstanding discussions with the Pistons about sending Bojan Bogdanovic to Detroit paid off, putting the championship season behind for good and looking to the future.

The start of the new NBA season will not find him Bogdan Bogdanovic in the salt lake.

Jazz’s talks with the Pistons for the 33-year-old Croatian winger were at an advanced stage and given the latest information from Sams Charania, the deal has been finalized, he noted the trading formula that satisfies both sides.

According to what the famous journalist wrote, the exchange package will definitely include 31-year-old Canadian center (2.11) Kelly Olynyk, but also 23-year-old guard (1.88) Saben Lee.

Bogdanovic joined Jazz in the summer of 2019 and signed a four-year contract. He had 20.2 points at 41% from three in his first season, 17 at 39% behind the line in his second, and 18.1 at 39% in his third (the previous year). Overall, the veteran Croatian has 15 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per 29.1 minutes of playing 603 regular-season games in his career after playing for the Nets, Wizards, Pacers and Jazz.

Since Bogdanovic was drafted a complete change of strategy has been confirmed for the Utah team as Gober and Mitchell have already left.

The Croatian is set to receive $19.3m for the final year of his contract.
