NBA, Gallinari Had Surgery And Counts Down: ‘To Return To The Sport I Love’
Posting on his personal account on Instagram, Danilo Gallinari announced that he has undergone knee surgery and is now counting down to his return to court.
Danilo Gallinari was one of the unluckiest players this summer when he tore a cruciate ligament in his left knee in Italy’s World Cup qualifier against Georgia and left him out of the EuroBasket 2022 squad.
The Boston Celtics forward has had surgery and is now focusing on the rehabilitation portion which will take months. with his contribution on his personal Instagram account Gallinari seemed upbeat and impatient to get back on the ground.
“I had a successful ACL operation yesterday. Now I’m focused on my recovery and getting back to the sport I love. I want to thank the Celtics and the medical team at New England Baptist Hospital. I also want dr. Thank Antonio Orgiani and Dr. Rodolfo Rocchi for the support they gave me in Italy before the operation. Of course, I thank my fans for their constant support and wishes.
We’ll see you on the field soon.”
