Trouble with Avdiyya at Wizards, he returned injured from EuroBasket
The Wizards’ preparation for the 2022-23 season begins with an unexpected one, as Denny Avdiya is likely to miss some training sessions due to an injury he picked up as a souvenir of playing at EuroBasket 2022 with Israel.
Denny Avdiya is likely to be integrated into Wizards training a bit late as he was injured while competing at EuroBasket 2022 with the Israel national team.
The young forward is reported to have an adductor problem and is expected to be more cautious in training than the rest of his team-mates. However, both he and the wizards made it clear that it’s nothing serious.
During the 2021-22 season, Avdiya averaged 8.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2 assists in 24 minutes, becoming one of only 5 players in the NBA to play in all 82 regular-season games for his team. This year there is thought to be Washington’s main small forward.
