Jokic sent the Nets to 7th place
Nikola Jokic hit another triple-double and led the Nuggets to a 124-104 win over the Nets, forcing Brooklyn to its 8th straight loss, which dropped it to 7th in the East.
The Nets go cuff-to-cuff, Nikola Jokic has…a hard hand, and the rest is history, with the Nuggets beating Brooklyn 124-104 and finishing 7th in the Eastern Conference (so in the play-in tournament) fall behind. This was the 8th loss in a row for the New Yorkers, who collapsed in the second half.
Jokic took the nuggets by the hand with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, Will Burton contributed 21 points and Aaron Gordon 17 points.
For the Nets – again without Durand, Harden, Harris, Claxton and Aldridge – Kyrie Irving had 27 points, Cam Thomas had 20 points and Blake Griffin had 19 points.
